Royal Wedding Ring From Repurposed Welsh Gold

I know the Royal Wedding is yesterday’s news but we’re still finding out a few more information about all that went on. Like this thing about the wedding ring that Kate Middleton wore.

According to reports, the piece was designed by Wartski, which is a jewelry business managed by a Welsh family since 1865. The ring is supposedly crafted from gold nuggets that belonged to the queen. The golden nuggets were mined at the mountains of Anglesey long ago.

It’s a simple band that reflects the simple ways this couple intend to live their married life together. Again, our congratulations to them!
