This holly ring is from The Met, and has a history to it. It’s based on, “an early twentieth-century Christmas card depicting a holly branch brimming with berries in the Museum’s Jefferson R. Burdick Collection.” Jefferson R. Burdick collected cards and paper that was collectible during the nineteenth and twentieth century in America. (Think: baseball cards, advertisements, etc.) The ring itself is hand enameled with red glass beads and has 18k gold overlay. It’s a very festive Christmas ring.
You can buy this holly ring (jewelry) from The Met store.
