If you ever thought it was possible to own a ring with a piece of metal from outer earth, the answer is, “yes, there’s a ring for that”.

The meteorite rings have been oddly popular among the few who know about it but here’s a great source for finding a meteorite ring if you want to get one before they run of it.

The Widmaanstatten pattern is unique to iron meteorites. It is caused because of the way the meteorite slowly cooled on its journey to the earth where it impacted some 30,000 years ago. The meteorite cooled at the rate of 1 degree every 1000 years. This pattern is impossible to duplicate here on earth. Due to the high nickel content, it is naturally stain and rust resistant.
