Ryoji Takahashi calls this ring part of “Info Jewelry” and what it does is very cool. You get a ring with an earpiece, and products are scanned with the ring. Then, in the earpiece you are told the name of the product and (if applicable) the expiration date. This ring is helpful for the hearing impaired, but is also for people who want to shop without knowing the prices of things…which I think is odd. I’d like the ring to quickly tell me the price of things, too. Do you know how hard it is to find price tags in clothing stores sometimes?
