Merge the dark mystery of a garnet with the light iridescence of a moonstone! Moonstone is a nice accent for darker gemstones such as garnet – which has a burgundy shade to it, and is the birthstone for January. (Moonstone is a birthstone for June.) The marriage of these two elements in a piece of jewelry – such as a ring – is of understated glamour and elegance.
The first piece of moonstone and garnet jewelry I’d like to show you is an Arik Kastan designer ring, set with rose gold. A halo of garnets (bezel set in gold) surround the round moonstone like a celestial being.
Following that we have an Art Deco Ring. It fits nicely into our section for rings under 50 dollars. This would be a perfect ring to wear every day. It reminds me of Kate Winslet’s character from the movie Titantic, although that wasn’t the right time period for this ring. Still, this ring seems like it would be worn by a romantic rebel. Is that you?
We have two exotic pieces – well, one is a jewelry set and the other are chandelier earrings. But all very exotic, I assure you of that.
And the final piece I selected is a lot like the first ring you see, it has a halo of garnets around a moonstone. How’s that for coming full circle?
