So gorgeous, would you guess this is an estate sale ring? It’s antique and has 1.25 Kashmir Sapphire plus a 0.95 carat Pear cut diamond. It is made with platinum and is from the 1930’s. What is a Kashmir sapphire? It is a very rare type of sapphire! The most famous sapphires are all from Kashmir. But there have not been sapphires found in Kashmir for a long time. This sort of sapphire has a cornflower blue color that looks like blue velvet.
